Allie, a sweet, discarded beagle, who was found stray then brought into the NK Pound(where we met her), is sadly, not yet available for adoption. She’s currently undergoing heart worm treatment for a heavy load of heart worms and it will be July before she’s healthy enough to go into a loving home. She needs all our prayers that she pulls through this and is going to be just fine. Please keep Allie, her foster family and all the wonderful volunteers in the New Kent Humane Society in your thoughts and prayers for the next few months. This is so tough on Allie and on all of us not knowing whether she’ll pull through or not. Every single day is a challenge for Allie, she needs to be crated and calm for a few months to help her heal from the heart worm treatment.
Please consider donating to help with her treatment.
Notes from her foster Mom:
She is house and crate trained. Gets along with other dogs great. A part of me feels like she may need a buddy, I am not sure yet. When she sees us she gets just as excited when she around my dogs. She does great with the girls too (ages 8yrs).
