Dolly has come down with a condition which is suspected to be masticatory myositis, an auto-immune disease that affects her jaw muscles. She is on a course of steroids to see if there’s any improvement. She can only open her mouth about an inch. She can still bark, eat and drink, but long term we do not know if she will ever improve. Please consider sponsoring Dolly’s veterinary diagnosis and care or monthly needs, no amount is too small; we suspect she will be in foster care with us long term. You may donate online at These are Dolly’s intake pictures. She looks much cuter, shinier and friendly now. She has blossomed into a very friendly and playful dog. Dolly is a darling, waggy tailed, 15 pound beagle. She is in a caring foster home and she is looking for a home to call her own. She is current on vaccines and is spayed/micro chipped and is ready for her new home. Please e-mail
